Tel Aviv Museum of Art

Founded in 1932, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art is a prestigious cultural institution with a fantastic collection of works by leading artists of the first half of the 20th century. Modern art currents like Fauvism, Cubism, Futurism, and Surrealism, are well represented. Visitors can admire original works by Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Albert Gleizes, Joan Miró, Vincent van Gogh, Marc Chagall, Camille Pissarro, Wassily Kandinsky, and many others.

Besides the permanent collection, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art hosts all kinds of visiting exhibitions and cultural events, including meetings, lectures, children’s shows, and workshops. It is also a great destination for Israeli art as its collections are vast and highly comprehensive. The museum shop sells books, prints, postcards, souvenirs, designer jewellery and objects by local designers, and other gifts.

There’s also a cafeteria serving snacks and refreshments. The museum has elevators and wheelchair accessible restrooms.
